First Day:
Early morning departure; arrival in Bucharest at noon; panoramic bus tour of the downtown Bucharest, including Uniri Square, University Square, Victoria Square and the Square of the Revolution; photo stop in front of the Parliament – second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon, combining a monumental exterior and a magnificent interior; walking tour in the old Quarter of Lipskani build on the site of the oldest populated region of Bucharest – a charming quarter with cobbled streets and numerous bizarre art antique shopes, boutiques, bookstores, theaters, countless cafes, bars and restaurant; free time for lunch and afternoon departure to Sinaia and Bran; dinner and overnight.
Second day:
Breakfast, morning visit to the Hunting Residence of the Romanian Price Vlad, build in 14th century upon a 60m. high rock, commonly known as Dracula’s Castle; departure to Sinaia, free time for lunch, visit to Peles Castle – the former summer residence of the Romanian kings in 18th & 19th century, today beautifully recreating the old-time interior and atmosphere; visit to Sinaia monastery dating back to the 17th century, one of the most sacred Christian sites, also possessing a rich collection of valuable icons.
Afternoon departure to Bulgaria and late evening return.
