First Day:
Early morning departure; arrival in Istanbul at noon; lunch and city sightseeing tour of Istanbul including visits to the main attractions: ‘Sultan Ahmet’ (Blue) Mosque, famous for its minarets and exquisite interior; the Byzantine Hippodrome, preserving monuments from different periods of the city’s history; the first courtyard of the former Sultans’ Palace “Top Kapi” from where the huge Ottoman Empire had been ruled for centuries on; overnight
– Optional tour: “Istanbul by night” – dinner and floor show;
– Optional tour: “Illumination Tour” – a night panoramic bus drive through the main boulevards of Istanbul; visit to a fish market; refreshments; crossing over the Asian part of the city via the first bridge on the Bosphorus – photo stop for the night lights of the city;
Second day:
Breakfast and time at leisure;
– Optional tour: “Between Asia & Europe” – a picturesque motor boat cruise along the Bosporus, shopping in the trade center and the Egyptian Bazaar also known as the Spice Market, because of the abundance of oriental spices and goods, one of the most impressive Oriental covered marketplaces in the world;
Afternoon departure from Istanbul and late evening return to Bulgaria.
